Hey ladies, short post here! I know it may seem as if I am talking a lot about body parts these days but this is serious business!

The entire month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I encourage you all to go get your mammograms. To be honest with you, I have actually never gotten a mammogram EVER so Im looking for good place to get screened. If you ladies can recommend a place I would be so grateful.

Why is screening so Important?

Breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women. Its not a thing 'old women get', as women in their early twenties have been diagnosed with it. A mammogram is the screening test for breast cancer – can help find breast cancer early when it's easier to treat.
Self breast examinations are good but the screening sees what you cant.

Cancer sucks and Im sure you have known someone who has survived breast cancer or unfortunately lost the battle. I know I have and it hurts!
So I hope that you ladies encourage your girl friends, mothers, sisters, aunts to go get checked. Even if you are scared to go (like me) get a friend to go with you; it makes it easier.
